Upcoming classes

Just a quick note to say we have a new teacher joining us on Saturday 24 November for a 4 hour card class.  Her name is Carolyn Leih and here are the projects you will make between 9am and 1pm.

Then on Friday 30 November and Saturday 1 December Belinda Basson will be doing a Techniques page as per the picture below.  The cost for this class will be R150

Card Class 9 November

We will be running our first card class this coming Friday 9 November from 9am to 12pm for R100.  These are the cards we will be making using: stamps, punches, sticky backed foil,die cuts and stencils.

you will need to bring your own glue and glossy accents, the rest will be provided for you or in your kit.

There are 3 Christmas Cards and 3 others, one of which is a man's card.

We have a new direct line: 021 7052451 which you can call to book you place.

New Stock

Lazer cut Chipboard is now in stock.  These are fabulous when coloured with Distress Inks or acrylic paints and really pop when you add glossy accents over the top.

These Nesting dies are what I used to make the Christmas card samples in the shop.

Ticket strips with wording for cards and some cut outs of Happy Birthday and Thanks wording have also been delivered.

Stencils are fabulous for doing backgrounds on pages or cards and Distress Inks or Colour Wash sprays work brilliantly with these.

Pop in when you have a moment to come see what else has arrived.

It's Back to Christmas we go!

I have just been reminded that it is 65 days to go to Christmas!  For those of you who are card makers or are planning to make gifts...here is a bit of inspiration for you.

I used lots of Tim Holtz dies and products here because they are so versatile and easy to use.

The techniques I have used on this layout can be used on their own or grouped together with a few of the others.

All the products used in this example are available in store right now, but you better hurry if you want any of them as things have been flying off our shelves!

I will be placing this together with all the products I used on the table at the back of the store to make your guess work a little easier...
